Job summary

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace seeks a motivated Engineering Technician to support development, prototyping, assembly, testing, and transition of UAS products. You will work with Engineering and Manufacturing to translate evolving designs into repeatable manufacturing processes.

Travel to suppliers and contract manufacturers will be required to support launches, troubleshooting, and process implementation. Strong hands-on problem-solving and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in prototype/manufacturing/aerospace environments.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly procedures.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly, bonding, wiring, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Support prototyping, fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of UAS hardware.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, bonding, wiring, and integration to a high standard.
• Work from engineering drawings, CAD docs, BOMs, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Support development and first-build activities where designs or processes are evolving.
• Identify and communicate design/manufacturing issues to Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Provide feedback to improve product designs and production documentation.
• Assist with transition of designs from Engineering into repeatable production.
