Job summary

Kraus Hamdani Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop, implement, and support the test systems and processes required to manufacture our UAS reliably and at scale. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.

The engineer will translate product requirements into practical production test solutions and support to contract manufacturers in the U.S. and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance.
• Experience developing or supporting manufacturing test systems for complex electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing test systems for UAS components and systems.
• Translate requirements into repeatable production test methods and acceptance criteria.
• Develop test fixtures, harnesses, interfaces, and equipment for manufacturing testing.
• Develop automated test methods to improve throughput and data quality.
• Troubleshoot failures across aircraft hardware, electrical systems, and test equipment.
• Travel to supplier/contract manufacturers to support test-system installation and production launches.
