Job summary

Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) in Valencia, CA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to direct and implement engineering strategies to ensure on-time delivery of quality products at a cost that supports company success.

You will define and develop manufacturing processes for precision parts, forecast resources, enforce lean practices, and collaborate with QA to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Materials/Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years of related operational experience.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls, and costs.
• Lean manufacturing practices including 5S, Visual Controls, and Standard Work.
• Able to instruct others in lean practices.
• Proactive communicator across all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and implements manufacturing strategies to meet plant goals.
• Defines, develops, and implements manufacturing processes to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Forecasts resource requirements and allocates resources according to priorities.
• Controls and reduces costs; improves CNC programming, methods, processes, and materials.
• Collaborates with QA to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Establishes and maintains safety operations by adhering to procedures and policies.
