Job summary

Axillon Aerospace is seeking an experienced engineer to plan, design, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products. You will determine required parts, equipment, and tools, and contribute to safety, layout, and capacity analyses.

The role emphasizes lean methods and data-driven problem solving, with a focus on manufacturability and continuous improvement across the production floor.

Qualifications

• Provide extended expertise in planning and designing manufacturing processes to improve the manufacture of new and existing Axillon Aerospace products.
• Determine parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
• Maintain labor standards, safety initiatives, facility layout, capacity analysis, and process simulation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment from a design-for-manufacturability approach.
• Develop process improvement projects aligned with business strategies to improve production yields and throughput.
• Analyze production processes and equipment layouts to maximize efficiency and throughput.
