AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

This hands-on role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes and equipment on the shop floor, working directly with production teams to troubleshoot issues and transition new designs into production. The successful candidate will collaborate with design, tooling, dynamics, thermal, test, and electrical engineering teams to boost safety, quality, manufacturability, capacity, cost, and production efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
• 4+ years in hardware development, test lab, aerospace/space maintenance, manufacturing, or hands-on engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain hands-on presence on the manufacturing floor to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Support manufacture, assembly, and testing of complex heat exchangers, including sheet metal fabrication, brazing, welding, and assembly.
• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes using Lean, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Analyze production and test data to identify trends, resolve quality issues, reduce defects, and improve process capability.
• Troubleshoot product issues involving designs, materials, tooling, equipment, or processes.
• Design, install, validate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, increase capacity, simplify processes, and reduce costs.
