Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking world class Manufacturing Engineers to design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes for aerospace production. You will craft BOMs, work instructions, and build plans that enable safe, repeatable spaceflight on our New Glenn program.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, hands-on floor support, and advancing from development to production with a focus on safety and efficiency. A BS in engineering and CAD proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial/aerospace engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering software tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering intent into hardware ready for test and flight.
• Identify tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
• Generate, manage, and close NCRs.
• Craft manufacturing plans and tool lists for new products.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for safety and productivity.
• Drive transition from development to production with troubleshooting.
