Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking world class manufacturing engineers to apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing and production processes for aerospace products. You will support development and operations of New Glenn with scopes across manufacturing and supply chain.

Responsibilities include translating engineering intent into hardware, crafting manufacturing BOMs and work instructions, identifying tools, providing shipside/lineside floor support,

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years (Level II) or 5+ years (Level III) in relevant aerospace/manufacturing fields.
• Hands-on machining and post-processing experience; GD&T knowledge.
• Strong CAD, Excel, PowerPoint, and document control skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering intent into functional hardware with BOMs and work instructions.
• Identify tools and equipment needed for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside floor support and NCR management.
• Develop build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists for new products.
