Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 0–3 years of aerospace experience, preferably in an Aerospace Final Assembly Line.
• Travel Required: 5% Domestic and International.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and tools used in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and quality system management.
• Knowledge about non-conformities and design query notes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Create specific work orders for FAL rework (Cabin, Systems, Electrics, or Structures by Station), establish/verify the technical content of non-conformities, and validate in documentation.
• Provide technical support to production on all issues including oversight of directed changes.
• Incorporate implicit knowledge into work instructions and refine them for language, detail, and regulation assignment to ensure accurate aircraft build information.
• Initiate availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools required for work.
• Manage continuous improvement measures with reoccurring non-conformities in cooperation with quality.
• Participate as an active team member to support ME activities in the FAL.
• Support completion of the routing verification process (RVP) for new or updated processes as required.
• Participate as an active team member learning and following dedicated training plans from current team members, including orientation support to new colleagues and trainees.
• Additional projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
