Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I for our Mobile, AL facility. You will assess manufacturing non-conformities, support late design changes, and identify opportunities to improve the production process around the A320 family.

Responsibilities include resolving technical questions, guiding work orders/drawings, and ensuring clear communication with FAL production and the on-site back office for work order adaptation. This is an onsite role with travel eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience, preferably Final Assembly Line.
• Travel required: 5% domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue work orders for rework and validate non-conformities.
• Provide technical support to production on manufacturing issues.
• Refine work instructions for clarity and regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools.
• Support continuous improvement measures with non-conformities in cooperation with quality.
• Participate in ME activities for the FAL and routing verification as needed.
