Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC) and NASA/commercial projects. You will provide technical support to engineers across research, design, testing, manufacturing, and process improvement.

The role involves electrical and mechanical fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation support, with travel across the United States as needed. Requires 8+ years' related experience and ability to read engineering docs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of related technical experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement requirements from engineering drawings and procedures.
• Experience in electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting, repair, or testing.
• Familiarity with engineering drawing processes and calibration requirements.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for engineers in research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Fabricate, assemble, modify, repair, troubleshoot, and test electrical, electronic, and mechanical components and assemblies.
• Perform cable, harness, and electronic component fabrication using NASA workmanship standards.
• Read and implement requirements from drawings, schematics, and work orders; support hardware testing and documentation.
• Lead or coordinate technical activities with impact on project results; train lower-level technicians as needed.
• Travel domestically up to 10% to support fabrication, repair, testing, and documentation activities.
