Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to build and scale employee development, training, and compliance across the company. You will own the LMS, design programs, and partner with engineering and manufacturing to meet training needs.

Based in a fast-paced aerospace environment, you will manage external providers, establish reporting, and help scale L&D as the company grows. This role is primarily office-based at Redondo Beach with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or a related HR function.
• Demonstrated experience selecting, implementing, or administering an LMS.
• Demonstrated experience building training programs or L&D capabilities from the ground up.
• Strong project management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Demonstrated experience with training compliance, reporting, and/or audit readiness.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and HRIS/LMS platforms.
• High school diploma, or GED certificate equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the company’s LMS, including course assignment, enrollment, completion tracking, and reporting.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Mission Management, EHS, Security, Quality, Legal, and People teams to identify training needs and develop company-wide and role-specific programs.
• Develop and maintain onboarding, compliance, safety, technical, and professional-development training.
• Manage third-party training vendors, including selection, scheduling, delivery, and budget.
• Establish training policies, compliance tracking, reporting, and metrics while continuously improving programs as the company scales.
