Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. in Duluth/Grand Forks seeks an Operations Learning and Development Senior Partner to author, develop, review, release, and deliver curricula across the Operations Team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, training, learning and leadership development, or lean discipline.
• 4-7 years' experience in Learning and Development in Aerospace operations or manufacturing.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to read, write and speak English.
• Subject matter expert in instructional design theory and learning principles.
• Knowledge of training methods for instructor-led and online formats.
• Experience with learning management software.
• Experience in talent management and succession planning.
• Ability to transform SME interviews into content.
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate content.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Broad knowledge of online and digital learning best practices.
• Ability to present complex information to various audiences.
• Ability to use and develop others in LMS.
• Proficiency in classroom training (virtual and live).
• Ability to establish project plans and monitor progress.
• Experience developing needs assessments for training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Operations leadership and SMEs to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Facilitates onboarding of Operations employees.
• Manages Cirrus University LMS resources and compliance tracking.
• Delivers training via classroom, webinar, or other virtual environments.
• Consults with SMEs to determine needs and elicit content.
• Develops curricula related to lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
• Builds annual training programs and teaching plans.
• Designs and produces training materials (print, visual, electronic).
• Develops eLearning content using authoring tools.
• Delivers and updates training content as needed.
• Assesses training effectiveness and applies improvements.
• Keeps abreast of trends in employee development.
• Supports LMS administration and enrollment, curriculum assignment.
