Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking an Inventory Analyst to manage inventory levels, analyze material requirements, and support production schedules.

Under limited direction, you will implement programs and procedures to meet project and production needs while ensuring aerospace standards and documentation compliance. You will review requisitions, transfers, and cycle counts, develop reports, and coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory planning and MRP concepts and systems.
• Customer-focused with data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage projects and lead in a team environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve inventory requirements and transfers.
• Analyze obsolete inventory and ABC codes.
• Coordinate with purchasing, planning, warehouse, contracts, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Develop inventory reports and monitor control procedures.
• Support audits and ensure traceability per AS9100.
• Provide status updates on shortages and supplier delivery issues.
• Maintain inventory to meet production and repair needs.
• Lead and mentor junior staff.
