Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an entry- to mid-level engineer to join the avionics instrumentation team. You will design and document ruggedized electronics enclosures and sensor installations for spaceflight hardware, working with senior engineers to grow in avionics packaging and instrumentation design.

You will develop 2D/3D models, apply GD&T, and contribute to flight hardware documentation, while collaborating across electrical, thermal, and structural engineers to support design reviews and

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of design/engineering experience in applicable domain.
• U.S. citizen or eligible for work in the U.S.
• Experience with CAD workflows and GD&T.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials and finishes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create/update 2D/3D models and drawings for electronics enclosures and sensors.
• Support LRU and sensor/harness installation drawings and specs.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 with mentorship.
• Manage drawing releases and configuration data in Windchill.
• Assist with design iterations and trade studies.
• Prepare drawing packages and technical documentation for reviews.
