Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace/ manufacturing inspection experience.
• Ability to read, write and correlate PC-DMIS programs.
• Experience with dimensional and visual inspection in aerospace.
• Read and interpret technical docs, blueprints and specs.
• Work independently and solve problems with minimal help.
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and measuring tools.
• Background in fast-paced manufacturing with multi-tasking ability.
• Experience with incoming, in-process and final inspections.

Responsibilities

• Final and in-process inspection of aerospace engine parts and components.
• Create, edit and correlate PC-DMIS programs from solid models and prints.
• Inspect visually and dimensionally using a CMM; verify with hard gages.
• Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to confirm customer criteria.
• Ensure all parts meet customer criteria and document outcomes.
• Process paperwork when parts are defective or require re-work.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Familiarity with building and calibrating hard gaging is a plus.
