Job summary

BARNES Aerospace in Ohio is seeking an Inspector, CRO to perform diversified inspection duties on aircraft parts and cross-train for additional functions. Candidates should have 1–3 years in aerospace, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to uphold strict quality standards.

Hours are 4:30pm–3am, Mon–Thu. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and operate CMM equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience in aerospace.
• FAA Certified Repairman or Airframe and Power Plant background is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading complex blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on engine components.
• Ensure inspections comply with manuals and technical data.
• Read engine manuals and data to perform receiving, in-process and final inspection activities.
• Operate computerized measuring equipment and assist other inspectors.
