Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Business Development Specialist – Aerospace in Los Angeles. The role blends inside sales, account management, and purchasing to service fasteners customers.

You will be the main contact for accounts, negotiate terms, manage inventory programs, and coordinate with sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure on-time delivery. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fasteners or related sectors, experience with ERP and Excel, and a proven ability to grow existing accounts through

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in fasteners or related aerospace/industrial environments.
• Experience in inside sales, account management, purchasing, or customer service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel requested.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts; manage daily communication, RFQs, and orders.
• Provide pricing quotations by sourcing supplier pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Place purchase orders to meet demand and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with outside sales, operations, and supply chain to fulfill orders.
• Manage inventory programs including consignment and replenishment.
• Own account performance including margins, turns, and service levels.
