Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter & Generalist to support a leading aerospace organization in Simi Valley, CA. This role combines full-cycle recruiting with day‑to‑day HR operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

With a pay rate of $30–$42 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule, you will source and hire engineering, manufacturing, and corporate talent while ensuring onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance activities run smoothly onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of combined HR and recruiting experience.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Previous experience recruiting engineering or technical professionals preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and coordinate offers for engineering, manufacturing, technical, and corporate positions.
• Onboarding: Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• HR Support: Assist with employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR policies.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate employee records and support compliance with employment laws and applicable industry regulations.
• Employee Engagement: Support training, employee engagement initiatives, and professional development programs.
• Reporting & Metrics: Track recruiting and HR metrics to help improve processes and workforce effectiveness.
