Johnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing firm, seeks a Project Engineer with 5+ years in Aerospace/Defense or similar settings. This Temp-Direct role, based in Valencia, involves leading project execution, DFMA considerations, and close collaboration with customers and suppliers.

Eligible candidates have proven project engineering experience and are comfortable with schedules, budgets, and quality targets. Salary is $72.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Aerospace/Defense or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of project engineering principles and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with DFMA principles and manufacturing environments.

• Maintain project schedules and mitigation plans; ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Drive New Product Introduction activities and collaborate with suppliers to resolve execution roadblocks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including requirements, schedules, designs, test plans, and user manuals.

Project Engineer

Johnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing company is looking for a Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience operating in an Aerospace and Defense or similar environment. Candidate must have proven experience in Project Engineering. This is a Temp-Direct job in Valencia for an Aircraft company. Pay Rate: $72.00 HR

Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Develop and manage project execution, including proposal support, requirements analysis, system design, integration and testing, and verification/validation activities. Lead and support Project Engineering initiatives, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Effectively manage external customers, representing company in accordance with business objectives. Update and maintain project schedules, developing mitigation plans when required and ensuring projects are compliant to schedule and technical requirements. Drive New Product Introduction efforts, including design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) considerations. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve roadblock execution when required. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, project schedule, design specifications, design review artifacts, test plans and procedures, and user manuals. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to companies Enidine technologies. This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience operating in an Aerospace and Defense or similar environment.
• Proven experience in Project Engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and requirements management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Project Engineering principles, including requirements management and verification, customer management, product design and development phases, integration and testing activities, verification/validation, and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with New Product Introduction processes, including Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Demonstrated high degree of Emotional Intelligence.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as ASTM, ISO, and SAE is a plus.
