You will work with NI hardware (DAQ, PXI, RIO, FlexRIO), and protocols like CAN, J1939, ARINC, RS-232/422/485, SPI, I2C, collaborating with hardware, software, and test teams to enhance procedures and automation.

Qualifications

Must be proficient in Python for test automation and scripting.
Experience integrating hardware and developing automated test rigs.
Hands-on understanding of how software communicates with hardware.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues.
Familiarity with NI DAQ hardware or similar test platforms.
Knowledge of sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and test equipment.
Understanding of CAN, J1939, ARINC, RS-232/422/485, SPI, I2C interfaces.

Responsibilities

Execute, review, and proofread board-level test procedures for customer deliveries.
Develop and automate test rigs and systems using Python.
Test PCBs within larger box-level systems and validate hardware configurations.
Troubleshoot cross-domain issues across hardware and software interfaces.
Identify root causes across software, hardware, instrumentation, and integration.
Integrate NI hardware (DAQ, PXI, RIO, FlexRIO) into test setups.
Configure sensors, actuators, and interfaces for testing.
Document results, configurations, and corrective actions.
Support continuous improvements to procedures and lab processes.
