Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a candidate who can design and implement guidance, navigation and control architectures in an embedded C++ environment.

The role involves defining ADCS requirements, analyzing mission-specific GNC performance, and developing offline geolocation processing pipelines. You will also support both software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing and validation, enabling reliable mission operations.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or equivalent) with 2–3 years of professional experience in GNC analysis and design
• Embedded C++ experience for guidance, navigation and control architectures
• Strong numerical programming skills in Python, Julia and MATLAB

Responsibilities

• Design and implement guidance, navigation & control architectures and algorithms in an embedded C++ environment
• Define requirements for ADCS algorithms, hardware, and related systems for current missions and roadmap development
• Perform analysis and simulation of mission-specific GNC performance
• Collaborate on the development of an offline geolocation processing pipeline
• Support software- and hardware-in-the-loop test planning, execution, and validation
