Job summary

Moog is seeking a Finish/Deburr Technician for the Buffalo, NY area on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. This hands-on role focuses on removing burrs and sharp edges from machined aerospace components to meet strict quality standards before inspection and assembly.

You'll contribute to product reliability and workmanship, with a sign-on bonus of $3,500 and a 10% shift differential for off‑day shifts. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, plus relevant deburring experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 months of related experience including deburring/finishing in a machine shop environment.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet engineering and quality specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect product performance or compliance with specifications.
• Support product durability and longevity by ensuring components are properly finished before inspection or assembly.
• Help prevent structural failures and assembly issues by ensuring parts are free of excess material and manufacturing defects.
• Prepare parts for the next stage of production by ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
