Job summary

Moog is seeking a Finisher I for the 3rd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will remove burrs and surface imperfections from machined aerospace components to ensure parts meet engineering and quality specifications before inspection or assembly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months in deburring/finishing in a machine shop, plus enrollment in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program. 2nd/3rd shift offers 10% differential pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• At least 3 months of related deburring/finishing experience in a machine shop.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required for this Safety Sensitive role.

Responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined components to meet specs.
• Inspect finished parts for defects that could affect performance or compliance.
• Support durability by ensuring components are finished before inspection or assembly.
• Prevent structural issues by removing excess material and defects.
• Prepare parts for next production stage by ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
