Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks an Intern - Externals Design to support the MSEN Engineering organization through execution of design tasks, field investigations, development engine test support and production engine assembly support.

You'll work on externals design, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply CAD/PDM tools like Siemens NX and Teamcenter to develop models, while assisting with build/teardown activities and ensuring design accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.
• Experience with common MS Office tools and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Execute externals design tasks and modify designs to meet project goals.
• Support field investigations, engine testing, and production assembly activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Assist build/teardown activities and verify designs are implemented correctly.
• Read drawings and use CAD/PDM tools to develop models and drawings.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure project success.
