Job summary

RTX, in collaboration with Pratt & Whitney, is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design Intern to create and modify mechanical designs meeting project requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions and support build/teardown activities, ensuring correct implementation.

Apply CAD skills (NX or similar) to develop models and drawings and work with engineering teams for project success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with Unigraphics NX or similar CAD tools.
• Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify mechanical designs to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Support build and teardown activities, ensuring designs are implemented correctly.
• Utilize engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Apply knowledge of CAD tools, such as Unigraphics NX or similar software, to develop models and drawings.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure project success.
