Job summary

Pratt & Whitney invites students and professionals to explore internships, co-ops and full-time roles at our East Hartford site. You will gain hands-on design experience with Special Test Equipment while collaborating with electrical and operations engineers to support jet engine testing.

You will develop and lead a technical design from start to finish and work with mechanical engineers and a project engineer to craft robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a program to acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Civil / Structural Engineering & Mechanical Engineers considered) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Gain design experience of Special Test Equipment (STE) while working with electrical and operations engineers to develop complex systems needed to support jet engine testing.
• Develop and lead a technical design from start to finish.
• Work closely with a team of mechanical engineers and a project engineer to develop solutions.
• Anticipated travel is less than 10%.
