Job summary

Parker Aerospace, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, invites applications for an Engineering Manager who will supervise the Product Engineering team, drive design and development efforts, and ensure manufacturability and cost targets are met. This role reports to staff management and collaborates across product managers, manufacturing engineering, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 10+ years of engineering experience, including

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering required.
Minimum 10+ years engineering experience with 5+ years supervisory exposure.
Electronics and/or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
PC literate with listed software (AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Access, Project, Lotus Notes).

Responsibilities

Improve existing products and develop new product derivatives.
Direct preparation of design layouts, production drawings, and diagrams.
Guide engineering changes and ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
Coordinate activities of engineers and drafters; support tool room and research.
Maintain standards and develop project Gantt charts; manage budgeting and staffing.
Support product managers, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance.
Engage with vendors and purchasing for supplier qualification and issues.
Ensure compliance with export controls and company policies.
