Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Engineering Manager to coordinate the total engineering focus of the Product Engineering department, transforming information into a comprehensive plan and guiding the development of new and improved products that are profitable and manufacturable.

The role requires directing resources to meet cost targets, timetables, and field issues, while supervising engineers, drafters, and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing and quality control considerations are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5 years supervisory experience and 5 years design engineering experience.
• Must have structural aluminum knowledge and experience.
• Must demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• Software competencies: AutoCAD, Inventor (or other CAD system), Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with Fluid Power and Hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and delegate resources to meet cost targets, timelines, production support requirements and field problems.
• Supervise engineers and drafters across projects; coordinate with Product Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Control and Purchasing.
• Direct and review design layouts, production drawings and design concepts.
• Direct engineering change control on production drawings and manage design documentation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (Gantt charts) and support research initiatives.
• Keep abreast of competitive products and market developments; cooperate with E-commerce initiatives.
