Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Manager to coordinate the Product Engineering department and translate concepts into new, manufacturable products. You will guide resource allocation, meet cost targets, and supervise engineers, designers, and draftsmen.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Control to ensure robust designs and manufacturability. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Electronics and/or mechanical engineering experience highly preferred.
• Must demonstrate effective organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• PC Literate (AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, Lotus Notes preferred).

Responsibilities

• Improve existing products and develop new derivatives to meet requirements.
• Direct or delegate preparation of design layouts, production drawings, and diagrams.
• Coordinate engineering change control on production drawings.
• Lead and supervise Engineers, Designers, and Drafting staff.
• Support Tool Room and Research initiatives and liaise with Product Managers and Manufacturing Engineering.
