Job summary

RTX Battle Management Software Department in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support development, test, and other SDLC activities for aircraft embedded software. You will work with C, C++, C#, Ada, and Python on real avionics systems and collaborate with systems and software engineers.

This onsite internship requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree and enrolled through internship duration.
• Minimum 60 hours of credit by start of internship.
• Programming experience in C/C++/C#/Ada/Python.
• Familiarity with software life-cycle stages (requirements, design, dev, test).

Responsibilities

• Assist development and testing across the software life cycle.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers.
• Work on embedded aircraft software interfaces.
• Support requirements, design, and integration activities.
