Job summary

Ralliant is seeking an Electronic Assembler in Solon, OH to perform complex assembly and soldering of PCB assemblies for aerospace/defense systems. You will interpret drawings and instructions, follow IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards, and work under a microscope to ensure quality.

This role requires a high school diploma, US citizenship, and 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience. ESD control and strong teamwork will support continuous improvement efforts across production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship required due to national security contracts.
• 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience in manufacturing.
• Certification to IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify electronic component values.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace and defense systems.
• Interpret visual aids, drawings, and instructions to assemble or rework units.
• Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies, including fine-pitch components, following IPC standards.
• Identify and repair soldering anomalies under a microscope with lead/lead-free solder.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to drive continuous improvement.
