Job summary

Bird Technologies in Solon, OH is seeking an Electronic Assembler to build electronic components, subassemblies and complete assemblies, including soldering both through-hole and surface-mount parts.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, following drawings, performing IPC-compliant soldering, setting up wave soldering equipment, and inspecting to ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Soldering including through-hole and surface-mount tech.
• Ability to use small hand tools and run assembly machines.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders and production drawings.
• Perform IPC-standard soldering for through-hole and surface-mount parts.
• Set up and operate wave soldering equipment.
• Assemble per routing instructions and mount subassemblies.
• Inspect assemblies to verify conformance to specs.
• Test assemblies as required.
