Job summary

Triumph Group, based in Yakima, WA, seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead environmental health and safety initiatives across our industrial operations. You will drive incident investigations, OSHA/WISHA compliance, risk assessments, and environmental performance improvements while partnering with HR, Operations, and Facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 3–6 years of EHS experience in complex settings, a related degree, and certifications such as REM, CIH, ASP, CSP, or CHMM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Physical Sciences, Business Management, or related field.
• 3–6 years of progressive professional EHS experience supporting complex industrial operations, including regulatory compliance, incident investigations, safety program administration, and environmental performance.
• Equivalent experience may be considered when it demonstrates ability to meet full scope and complexity of the role.

Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive safety culture focused on hazard awareness, safe behaviors, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the Safety Committee and ensure effective meetings, follow-through, and engagement in initiatives.
• Support emergency preparedness through planning, drills, equipment readiness, and documentation.
• Administer core safety programs such as lockout/tagout, mobile equipment, contractor safety, and safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified.
