Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an EHS Engineer to provide day-to-day environmental, health, and safety support at a manufacturing site. You will drive EHS program implementation, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction in partnership with operations.

Responsibilities include leading incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating across functions to embed EHS into daily work and projects while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or 4+ years manufacturing with HS diploma)
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs to meet regulations and company standards
• Perform risk assessments, JSAs, PHAs, and ergonomic assessments
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions to closure
• Support MOC processes to evaluate EHS risks before changes
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and HR to integrate EHS requirements
