Job summary

AMI Metals, Inc. in Wichita seeks a Director of Environmental, Health and Safety to lead Group EHS strategy and drive world-class safety performance across the aerospace operating group. You will partner with executives to align safety, health, and environmental goals with corporate priorities.

You will manage resources, budgets, and KPIs, mentor site leaders, and travel globally to ensure standards are implemented and improved while maintaining regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Safety or Environmental Science.
• 10+ years in engineering/safety/environmental leadership in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience leading multi-site EHS teams, incl. international operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group EHS strategy, goals, and long-range plans with executive leadership.
• Develop and manage EHS metrics, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive world-class EHS culture, compliance, and performance across sites.
