AFB International seeks a forward-thinking Director of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) to shape and drive a global EHS strategy across all operations. This high-impact leadership role focuses on creating a true culture of safety beyond compliance.

You will build and lead a strong EHS team, drive improvements with data, and partner across engineering, HR, and operations to elevate safety performance worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership with global and manufacturing experience.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory standards and EHS systems.
• Strong communicator with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
• Lean/Six Sigma background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global EHS roadmap aligned with company values.
• Oversee global regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and safety programs.
• Partner with engineering, HR, operations, and site leaders to drive audits and training.
• Lead data-driven improvements in EHS processes and culture.
• Build and lead a high-performing EHS team.
