Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage controlled records and revisions for engineering and manufacturing documentation. You will work with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Planning to ensure accurate, accessible documentation across ERP, PLM, and QMS systems.

The role requires attention to detail, aerospace documentation knowledge, and the ability to coordinate ECOs and changes while maintaining traceability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience with document control, configuration management, or technical records in aerospace or regulated industries.
• Experience using ERP, PLM, QMS, EDMS, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain controlled engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer documentation per procedures and standards.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Orders and revision processes with cross-functional teams.
• Release approved documentation into the systems and support manufacturing with up-to-date configuration data.
• Support audits by providing controlled documents, revision histories, and traceability information.
• Maintain document repositories, metadata, and retention requirements; ensure data integrity across systems.
