Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing and unmanned systems programs. The role focuses on managing controlled documentation, maintaining configuration records, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements throughout the lifecycle.

The successful candidate will coordinate documentation activities across headquarters, manufacturing partners, quality, engineering, logistics, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of documentation control experience in aerospace/regulated environments.
• Experience processing DD250 documentation and government contracts.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and configuration management principles.
• Experience coordinating with multiple departments and third-party partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain controlled documentation for aerospace programs.
• Coordinate DD Form 250 documentation for government contracts.
• Collaborate with HQ, production, suppliers, QA, engineering and logistics.
• Verify packages for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain revision control and document management throughout the lifecycle.
• Organize manufacturing records, CoCs, FAIs, test reports, and shipping records.
• Generate packages and reports for customer reviews and demonstrations.
• Track milestones to align with schedules and delivery requirements.
• Support audits with accurate records and retrieval systems.
