Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for the On-Site team in MA to contribute to the Air Defense Ground Equipment. You will work on mechanical design, development, and integration of critical defense platforms, handling components, documentation, design changes, and releases.

The role requires at least 2 years in a STEM field or an advanced degree, with strong collaboration skills and experience across the product lifecycle. On-site in MA, some travel may be expected.

Qualifications

Degree in STEM with 2+ years experience or an advanced degree.
Experience investigating and resolving manufacturing or supplier changes.
Experience supporting full product lifecycle.
Cross-functional collaboration with suppliers.
Experience with design reviews and trade studies.

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve change requests from manufacturing or suppliers.
Develop rework or modification procedures for product updates.
Support full product lifecycle from concept through production.
Collaborate with engineering, non-technical functions, and suppliers to solve design challenges.
Participate in design peer reviews and conduct trade studies.
