Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee Aerospace & Defense field work nationwide. You will manage on-site inspections, NDT/NDI methods, and related asset integrity services across customer facilities, space labs, and manufacturing sites.

The role requires strong field presence, knowledge of NDT methods, and the ability to build trusted client relationships while driving safety, schedule, and budget adherence in a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
• 5+ years of Project Management or supervisory experience, with field inspection/NDT project experience preferred.
• Strong background in NDT methods and aerospace/defense quality standards.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and maintain strong field presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day management of all field activities on Aerospace & Defense projects, including NDT/NDI.
• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, budget, and deliverables from planning through closeout.
• Direct field teams to ensure high productivity, quality, and compliance with requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as primary client contact with regular status updates and KPI reports.
