Job summary

Textron Aviation is offering a 2027 internship in Wichita, KS, to provide hands-on engineering coordination between customers, Marketing, and Engineering/Manufacturing. You will prepare technical proposals, support service facilities, and assist with field service operations on Textron Aviation products.

The program runs 10 weeks in the summer, with full-time hours and a prepaid internship stipend. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• Interest in aerospace and avionics preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical data and problem summaries for internal teams.
• Sustain technical files for product improvements.
• Analyze discrepancy reports and coordinate corrective actions.
• Liaise between Field Service and Manufacturing on customer problems.
• Assist on-site at Textron Aviation service centers during investigations.
• Support coordination of equipment suppliers to maximize reliability.
