Textron Aviation invites applications for a 2027 Internship in Technical Engineering Services in Wichita, KS. Interns will gain hands-on experience by supporting service centers, analyzing field data, and developing innovative repair solutions for Textron Aviation products.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, technical publications, and manufacturing to prepare test plans, assist with airworthiness decisions, and draft certification plans in

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Aviation/Engineering).
Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Good computer skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Research field data to understand customer pain points and develop improvements.
Prepare structural test plan reports and results for repair and innovation testing.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, technical publications, maintenance engineering and manufacturing to develop solutions.
Provide team support and consultation to meet global demand for repair engineering on Textron Aviation products.
Write Certification Plans to establish revisions to ALM/ALS with FAA coordination.
Create testing and repair drawings and standard repairs using Catia and Enovia.
