Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Ogden, UT is seeking a Customer Recovery Manager to lead division-wide past due backlog recovery efforts and restore on-time purchase order status. You will balance demand with supply, set priorities for fulfillment, and serve as the voice of the customer during high‑stress recovery situations.

You will collaborate across functions, work with suppliers, track milestones, mitigate risks, and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience within a manufacturing facility in Operations, Materials Planning, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Program Management or Customer Service.
• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing organization highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to handle upset customers and coordinate across functions.
• Ability to manage customer concerns to prevent escalation.
• Experience in turn-around or recovery situations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic guidance to build and execute recovery plans for long-term production stability.
• Collaborates with support functions and suppliers for timely information and customer feedback.
• Establishes recovery milestones and mitigates risks impacting recovery.
• Communicates recovery plans to customers to demonstrate control of the situation.
• Acts as escalation point for customers regarding production status, scheduling, and shipping.
• Supports planning functions and participates in SIOP to align demand and supply strategies.
• Prepares reports and presentations illustrating production recovery progress.
• Coordinates leadership visits focused on delivery performance.
• Addresses barriers to performance improvements and drives team engagement.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Division General Manager.
