Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Recovery Specialist to drive continuous improvements and resolve quality issues with suppliers. The role focuses on governance, audits, and tracking performance against contracts and KPIs.

You will lead supplier recovery efforts across sites nationwide, implement CAPA, root-cause analyses, and report progress to executives. Strong analytical, Excel, BI tools, and ERP experience are required, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field (e.g., industrial & systems engineering, supply chain, finance, law/contract law, program management).
• One or more years of experience in contract administration or procurement.
• Supply chain, supplier quality, procurement or operations experience (manufacturing or distribution preferred).
• Practical experience leading supplier recovery, CAPA, root cause analysis (5‑Why, Fishbone) and performance improvement projects.
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills; ability to lead without direct authority.
• Solid project management skills; comfortable driving multiple concurrent actions.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including executive summaries and supplier escalation communications.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites up to 50% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead recovery efforts on supplier delivery issues and drive governance and reporting.
• Conduct supplier audits or coordinate audits with cross-functional teams.
• Lead supplier recovery and risk mitigation at sites nationwide.
• Initiate vendor quality management and track supplier performance.
• Deploy supplier recovery initiatives including training and quality improvements.
• Lead cross-functional projects improving on-time delivery and sub-tier management.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Report progress to executives and interface with suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate across orgs to implement systemic countermeasures to performance issues.
