Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Supplier Recovery & Performance Specialist to lead end‑to‑end responses to supplier issues and embed continuous improvement. You will mobilize cross‑functional teams for rapid containment and full recovery, drive CAPA and root cause analyses, and coordinate with planning to ensure forecast accuracy and data integrity.

The role requires extensive on‑site presence with 25% travel, a Bachelor’s degree, and 3–5+ years in supply chain or procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
• Direct experience of at least 3–5+ years in supply chain, supplier quality, procurement or operations in manufacturing preferred (distribution experience may also be considered)
• Practical experience leading supplier recovery, CAPA, root cause analysis (5‑Why, Fishbone) and performance improvement projects
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills; ability to lead without direct authority
• Solid project management skills; comfortable driving multiple concurrent actions
• Clear written and verbal communication, including executive summaries and supplier escalation communications
• Ability to travel to supplier sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead recovery efforts on key supplier delivery issues, establishing governance and reporting.
• Conduct deep dives into constraints and guide suppliers to resolve them.
• Participate in supplier site audits and coordinate audits to assess quality of supplier's product.
• This role is extensively supplier facing and requires on-site presence; travel up to 25%.
• Lead supplier recovery and risk mitigation at supplier sites nationwide.
• Initiate vendor quality management including evaluating process capability and delivery performance.
• Deploy supplier recovery with assessments, training, quality and delivery improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to improve on‑time delivery and reduce volatility.
• Own supplier scorecard improvement and supplier recognition.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to close issues.
• Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers on performance and improvements.
• Report plans and results at executive levels for accountability.
