Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace in Red Oak, Texas, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer 2 to support composite production, develop manufacturing plans and lead process improvements. The role requires on-site work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS in a relevant engineering field with 3–5 years in aerospace manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with CATIA V5 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering.
• 3–5 years of related aerospace manufacturing experience.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• CATIA V5 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans from engineering requirements, defining sequence of operations and tooling.
• Lead continuous/process improvement initiatives using lean methods.
• Provide day-to-day support with production operators and supervision to resolve technical issues.
• Identify defect causes and drive corrective actions in the bond process to prevent recurrence.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA) to improve yield and performance.
