Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer 2 (Bond) to support on‑site manufacturing of aerospace composites at the Red Oak, TX facility. You will work with production operators, engineers and leadership to develop manufacturing plans and lead process improvements in bond operations.

The role requires a BS in a relevant engineering field and 3–5 years of related aerospace experience, with CATIA V5 and MS Office proficiency. On‑site work and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace engineering.
• Candidate will have 3–5 years of related experience; aerospace composites fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans from engineering requirements, defining sequence of operations, tooling, and inspection plans.
• Lead continuous and process improvement initiatives using lean principles and Six Sigma tools.
• Provide day-to-day support to production operators and resolve technical issues; perform root cause corrective action.
• Collaborate with mechanics on bond processes to identify defect contributors and implement corrective action.
• Ensure adherence to best practices across the bond operations value stream.
• Utilize Lean/Six Sigma tools (SPC, VCM, FMEA) to predict and improve yield.
