Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2 for the Red Oak, TX site. This on-site role supports composite production, develops manufacturing plans, and leads process improvement initiatives to boost yield and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with operators, supervisors, and other teams, applying problem-solving techniques and CAD tools to prevent defects and optimize the bond process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace engineering.
• 3–5 years of related experience; aerospace composites fabrication preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CATIA V5 CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing production of composite components and assemblies.
• Develop manufacturing plans, define operations sequence and tooling.
• Lead continuous/process improvement initiatives using lean methods.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to resolve issues and root cause action.
• Work with mechanics to identify defect causes and implement corrective action.
