Qarbon Aerospace in Red Oak, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2 focused on bond processes for aerospace composites. On-site role reporting to the Red Oak facility, you will develop manufacturing plans, specify operations sequences, and lead improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field and 3–5 years of experience, with CAD/CAM tools and strong problem-solving and communication skills. On-site commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace engineering.
• 3–5 years of related experience; aerospace composites manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with CATIA V5 CAD software and standard Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans from engineering requirements and define tooling.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean principles and process optimization.
• Provide day-to-day floor support, resolving technical issues and root causes.
• Collaborate with mechanics to identify defect causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure bond operations follow best practices across the value stream.
