Job summary

Pratt Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a hands-on engineer to support the Vapor Phase Aluminide coating cell and related processes on the 2nd shift at US-based facilities. You will rapidly respond to quality issues, troubleshoot production disruptions, and work with cross-functional teams to maintain continuous part flow.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS with 4–8 years' relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting coating processes in a production setting is strongly preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Ability to collect and analyze production or quality data to support problem solving and process improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating with operators and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support to production in the VPA Coating Cell and related processes.
• Respond to quality issues and production disruptions to maintain flow and drive improvements.
• Troubleshoot process interruptions to minimize downtime and sustain production.
• Provide real-time technical support to operators and shift leaders during production.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, EH&S, and engineering to rapidly contain issues.
